The Voya 401k plan from my previous employer had around ~$29k in it when I was laid off due to COVID. I was able to find new employment in October 2020 but did not transfer the money to my new employer’s 401k plan. I just logged in and it says there is a $0 balance on my account.
I’m freaking out and don’t know what happened. Is it possible that my previous employer rolled all the money into an IRA without telling me. If so, how do I find out where the money went?
