I recently took a job and quit after 5 days. The job was vastly misrepresented in the job description and during the interview, and I was not a fan of their shady practices. Today I checked my bank statement and saw that the employer had direct deposited AN ENTIRE MONTH'S PAY. There's no way they meant to deposit this amount for 5 days of work. This place is shady and clearly incompetent, and I can already anticipate another headache in front of me dealing with this situation. What should I do from here to solve the issue while minimizing potential hassles?
