My dad has already asked for one specific, really expensive pair of noise cancelling headphones for Christmas; he says it's the only thing he wants. To be honest, they're more than half of what I was planning on spending for gifts for all of my immediate family (small family admittedly).
This got me wondering, what are your tips for being frugal, but not necessarily being cheap, with Christmas presents? Aside from black Friday sales and making your own gifts, any tips for balancing demanding family/friends/kids with the frugal lifestyle?
