I spoke to a friend of mine today who told me it was not frugal for me to have a set maintenance schedule on my vehicle. I have always thought by doing this it keeps my vehicle in top shape which will last me a longer time. My friend told me that it is not frugal because I am spending money that I don't need to spend until something breaks. Someone out there please tell me I'm not doing this wrong. I have a 2009 pickup truck that is paid off and runs very well with over a hundred thousand miles.
