I live in the Midwest so it gets cold here. I’m on the second floor of an apartment and everything is electric (baseboard heating). I’m gone for about 10-12 hours of the day working usually and when I get home I want to come home to a warm apartment.
I don’t have the option to install a smart thermostat in my apartment. How can I keep my heat to medium without needing to constantly turn it off before I leave and turn it on when I get home (to coldness)?
My electric bill in the summer is around $25 and in winter it’s around $100. I don’t want to keep paying such expensive bills but I also don’t want to waste electricity.
I don’t like space heaters as I walk around my apartment and don’t want to carry it everywhere.
