https://ift.tt/3iNvxCy red dots are the existing holes in my 2x4 from a previous bracket.The green dots are how the new bracket should be installed (according to the instructions).Im wondering if its ok to just use the old holes (red) instead of drilling new holes (green). It seems like it would still be secure enough. The only thing is with the red holes, the bracket will hang off the 2x4 a little.The TV will clip onto the top and bottom of the bracket.Also is it ok that my screws go through the 2x4 and slightly into the drywall, since I have the ends of the 2x4 on the studs? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/3cevvRH
