My partner and I are currently under stay-at-home orders. We can't go to the laundromat, and can't afford our own washer and dryer. We bought a hand-crank laundry machine, the WonderWash, which has been great for doing small loads of laundry (would recommend!) but the clothes come out sopping wet, and wringing everything out by hand is exhausting and time consuming (especially sheets and towels!). Plus, we don't have a place to dry outside, just one of those foldy laundry racks.
I've been looking for a cheap way to get some of the water out of clothes and bedding so they dry faster. Laundry Alternative, the company that sells WonderWash, does sell a countertop spin dryer for $70, which is basically what we're looking for. But $70 is a lot of money, especially after dropping $50 on the WonderWash. Does anyone have any cheaper laundry-wringing solutions? I've read salad spinners can work--but ours is much too small for our purposes. We were looking into giant salad spinners, but those are pricy too.
EDIT: a lot of folks are suggesting things like clotheslines and types of drying rack--we're covered on this, and already have a good drying rack setup. The missing step is getting the excess water out of the clothes before drying--the WonderWash does not have a spin cycle, as it's basically just a sealed pod to put water and clothes into. So I'm mainly looking for tips on wringing/DIY spin cycling for large amounts of clothes. :)
