Not sure if this belongs in this subreddit but I’m considering moving to a new apartment in nyc where I would be contributing around 34% of my income towards rent where at the moment I’m paying about 18.5% in the city. Just want to know anyone else’s stories about whether they pay a higher or lower %, what fueled you to do so, and if you had any significant lifestyle changes either way as I’m torn.
