I'm 28, single and making about $75k/year. Regrettably only start investing 2 years ago. So here's a break down of what I have:
$36.6K in 401k with 10% contribution + 6.5% company match.
$19K in Roth.
$76K in Vanguard index funds. Bond: 14% International: 28% and SP500: 58%
$2K in HSA but I spent most of it for a surgery.
I have about $18K liquid.
I don't really have any big purchases coming up, maybe a small house after a year and marriage in 2 years. Not gonna think about kids for awhile. Both my SO and I are pretty frugal.
Is there anything else I should be doing besides putting more into HSA and put more into index funds as time go by? If you were me what would you be doing differently?
