Hello, I am trying to determine whether or not it would be financially responsible for me to pursue post-graduate education. The only debt me and my husband have currently is $135,000 for our house. The program may be as much as $25,000 a year for 5 years. The vocation I would have after schooling may have me earning up to $100,000 annually, but likely not for several years. We think we will be able to pay half as I progress through school. Still, this would leave us with over $60,000 in debt and 5 years of income loss for myself. Would this be a worthwhile endeavor? Schooling would provide me with the career I want, but I would like to consider it from a financial standpoint. Thanks for considering!
