I'm not even sure if negotiate is the correct word for what I want to do but I am a student who is interning at a company who hires lots of interns from my school. I have completed one semester but I have been given an offer letter from the company for a second semester. After speaking to other interns I have come to find out that they were making more than I was. We are all in the same job position. We have the same basic qualifications -- I even have more credit hours completed, a relevant minor and a higher GPA. I was sent an offer that matches the same salary as these people were making last semester. I feel that I should be making at least what these people will be making for this semester, given that they will receive a raise for this semester as well. How do I negotiate(?) and ensure that I am paid equally as my peers?
