About 4 years ago I was gifted a Swiss Gear backpack by a relative who had been using one for a very long time and was sure it would last me at least a decade. It was definitely the most comfortable bag I've ever had, however after about 2 years a zipper broke (not covered under warranty as far as I could tell) and yesterday a second and more major zipper broke. I don't think I'm particularly rough on the bag, but I have broken two zippers in 4 years through near daily use (I'm a teacher) on a bag that's supposedly rugged, so...
Anyway, does anyone have any suggestions for book bags or brands that are as comfortable on the back as Swiss Gear, but will last longer?
