So on this long kitchen remodel, we finally are getting cabinets installed. We decided to go with the Ez-level system because our floors are all kinds of unlevel. I had done some research and many people said it wasn't worth the money because you can level just fine with the hard plastic shims. Well, after installing almost all of the base cabinets (minus the sink base) the cabinets on the low point are almost an inch and a half off the ground. They are basically floating there with the metal Ez-level (which is apparently rated to be able to hold 700lbs, so I don't have to worry about them breaking when we install the countertops). All this to say it was definitely worth it. We would have 🐝 shimming forever with how unlevel these floors are, and this is after we already made the floors even so there are no extra dips or peaks for the flooring we are going to put down.https://ift.tt/2mewfkg I forgot to request, anyone ever use this Ez-level system? I still feel like I should put shims under the cabinets because they are really off the ground and I don't want them moving/sinking and cracking the counters. Good thing our toe kick is 2in... via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2oor81r
