I've seen this come up on a few different threads, where someone mentions buying a house with their girlfriend/boyfriend/whoever and the overwhelming consensus in the comment section seems to be that it's a bad idea unless they're married. I'm just wondering if anyone could explain to me (maybe not like I'm 5, but in a non financial expert way) why this is such a bad idea. Thank you!
