My eyesight is deteriorating, so I need a new prescription every year...But with a new prescription comes a new pair of glasses.
How it is possible to afford new glasses with a new prescription every year? Is it, especially when a yearly supply of contacts cost ~$400 and you don't have vision insurance?
Do you just buy cheap frames, or do you completely switch to contact lenses and use old frames when you need to? Or do you just not get a new prescription or pair of glasses every year? At the same time, I'd prefer not to strain my eyes and accelerate the deterioration of my vision by continually using glasses from an old prescription.
My home is also wondering how to prevent a possible intake of new glasses each year, haha, but I suppose I should just learn how to live and work with contacts, in spite of how much they strain my eyes when I use the computer.
