So, a while back I found this lamp during one of my walks, and I decided to keep it. Soon enough it broke, and I wasn't surprised. I kept it in cyase I'd ever want to fix it. Fast forward to yesterday, when I got a new microphone. Sadly enough the provided stand was a bit too small, and I wanted it to be closer to my mouth. I immediately thought of my lamp and decided to put together the provided stand and my lamp.First I had to remove the bulb, the electronics around it, and any unnecessary parts that could hinder the mic. Then, I had to find a way to attach the mic to the lamp, so I dismantled the stand, removed the little legs, and only kept the stick where I would screw the mic on. Then I used the hole in the lamp where the switch was to screw the stick to the lamp and voilà, the project is done!I might eventually replace the bottom part with something I can fixate to my desk, but everything works perfectly fine as it is right now, so it won't be necessary.Pics: http://bit.ly/2VOtPVd via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2ErOLLV
