So, a while back I found this lamp during one of my walks, and I decided to keep it. Soon enough it broke, and I wasn't surprised. I kept it in cyase I'd ever want to fix it. Fast forward to yesterday, when I got a new microphone. Sadly enough the provided stand was a bit too small, and I wanted it to be closer to my mouth. I immediately thought of my lamp and decided to put together the provided stand and my lamp.First I had to remove the bulb, the electronics around it, and any unnecessary parts that could hinder the mic. Then, I had to find a way to attach the mic to the lamp, so I dismantled the stand, removed the little legs, and only kept the stick where I would screw the mic on. Then I used the hole in the lamp where the switch was to screw the stick to the lamp and voilĂ , the project is done!I might eventually replace the bottom part with something I can fixate to my desk, but everything works perfectly fine as it is right now, so it won't be necessary.Pics: http://bit.ly/2VOtPVd via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2ErOLLV
