So a few months back I checked my credit card statement and someone paid $400 to my credit card account. I didn’t know what this was so I called the bank and they investigated it and said it was deposited at a bank near me. I called that bank and they said they didn’t know what happened and they took the payment off. It was really suspicious and I hope no one had my account info.
Last week I get a letter from chase saying “we have credited your account ending in “xxxx” for $400 And I checked my account and it said “deposit date December 10th, Posted April 29th” And it got me thinking...what could this possibly be? It seems really really suspicious.
