My wife has a 403b through her employer (it’s fidelity). And then we each have an IRA (vanguard). Because we are not overly savvy or hands on with investing, we have all 3 of those retirement accounts in target date funds. I understand how the target date funds work and we are generally pleased with what we have. But my question is, is there at point at which one of those retirement accounts should be allocated differently? Is there a downside to having multiple accounts investing in target date funds?
