I had an ambulance called for me several months ago and wasn't able to answer questions about insurance until a couple days later. I reached out to them and gave my information within 3 days. The following month, I got a call attempting to collect the full bill and gave my coverage information again. This happened several more times amd eventually, they stopped contacting me. Today, I got a letter from a debt collector stating that the hospital had transferred my bill to them. I was not given a notice and had no missed calls from them. What can I do?
