My(20f)father has been emotionally abusing my family for a long time now. A few years back he opened 5 credit cards under my name and wouldn’t let me use them. I knew about these cards but as he was abusive and wouldn’t let me have any say about how i would like them to be used I was scared to confront him about them. He forced me to open these accounts so as he can ”help me establish credit” but he has a ruthless reputation for having damaged my siblings’ credit as his ex wives’. Recently I’ve been planning to move out and get him out of my life but he has all of my information and control those cards and I don’t know if there are others under my name I don’t know of. What can I do about this? Will I have to pay that debt?
