I have gotten several solicitations from AVG. It appears to be a good way to get some exposure to venture capital investment without a large minimum. Terms seem pretty standard: 2% fee, 20% carry. They apparently never are the lead on a deal, but bring money to funding rounds led by more traditional venture capital firms.
Has anyone here invested with them? I'm interested in what you think.
