My wife and I recently bought our first home. We love gardening and are excited to finally have a backyard to do it in. I was thinking about building some raised beds and it occurred to me that it would cost a small fortune to fill them with bagged top soil. Are there any better ways to get bulk soil than buying by the bag? We live in an urban area and have a very small lot, so I can't just move dirt from one part of the property to the beds.
