Chocolate covered strawberries are too easy, and too fucking expensive when ordered from anywhere, to not just make your own dozen+ for less than $7!
.) Pre-wash the strawberries and let them dry off a bit, then roll them in a paper towel/cloth to get all the moisture off (chocolate won't stick to water)
.) Set up a double broiler for the chocolate (pot with 1-2 inches of boiling water and a glass bowl that is able to sit in the pot without touching the water).
.) Once they water is boiling add chocolate chips to the glass bowl and wait for the chocolate to melt, give it a stir every now and then to move the unmelted chips to the bottom.
.) Once the chocolate is melted it's time to dip! Hold a strawberry by the green stem/top part and dip into the chocolate until 4/5 of the strawberry is submerged. take it out of the chocolate and lightly shake off any excess chocolate.
.) Put the dipped strawberry on a pan that has been lined with parchment paper (the non-stick is important!), once the pan is full of dipped strawberries pop it in the freezer for 15 minutes until the chocolate sets.
.) ENJOY THOSE HOMEMADE, DELICIOUS STRAWBERRY DELIGHTS
