The fam will soon be getting an entire new kitchen and I want to put in subfloor heating for minimal local use in the early mornings (not to heat the house).I would really like to just have a timer switch like this control the heat, but this switch alone won't control the amps and could easily cause some minor electrical house burning. Here is the heater I purchased and I hear it willl take probably 20-30min to heat up the floor. So I would like to do some type of combo of the the switch linked above and a cheap linevolt thermostat that can accept the thermal probe sensor that will be installed into the floor while just being set to 80 (leaving the switch to actually control on/off on the timer)...Any recommendations for a cheap direct voltage thermostat that can accept a temp probe? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2U64Ixf
