Pic related: http://bit.ly/2UrgVMu gang. I am a member of a Scottish Heavy Athletics team and we do weird things like throw 56 lb weights as high and far as possible, use s pitch fork to throw bales of hay, and my favorite throw a log so it tips all the way over and lands straight on front if you.So we recently acquired a new log, or caber as we call it, however it was damaged due to heavy use. So I'm looking for a way to reinforce it so it doesnt shatter or split further during practice. So far I have been filling the cracks with wood glue and splinters from the cut off bits.I'm looking for something light weight. It is important not to make the caber much heavier than it already is. Secondly I would like to find something that perhaps shrinks after it is applied so that it tightens up the cracks, I'm not sure if this is a thing. Any help would be just swell! Also rewarded with free beer if you are in Los Angeles. I work at a brewery and we sponsor the team. via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2S0046B
