Picked up a pair of the Redhead Lightweight merino wool socks from Bass Pro Shops a few weeks ago and fell in love - have since picked up a few pair. At $11.99, they seem like a good alternative to darn good socks, especially if you live near a Bass Pro Shops or Cabelas if/when you need to exchange them.
I know these have been around for a while, but I think the lightweight quarter socks are fairly new. They are thin enough that I can wear them year-round, and the merino wool makes the feel like cotton. I wear holes through my socks pretty quick, so I'm hoping this is a good investment. They even put on the display 'the last socks you'll ever need'. I hope so!
Anyone else have experience with these socks?
