So I built my own shed/wood working space shop area, I built the subfloor out of new hardwood industrial pallets, thick ply on top.One issue I have is I've gone to add my wood working bench but right where I plan to have it there is a hump in the floor, caused by one of the pallets. (imagine 4 pallets together, the 4 corner blocks all touching but one block is higher than the other)Now this causes a significant gap under one edge of my table about an inch, my option is either shim one edge of the table that inch OR take up the ply floor and remove material on the top board of the pallet to try make it flush. Obviously one method is alot more intensive than the other. Would shimming the table be perfectly fine in the long run? via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2PIrvzS
