Good afternoon Reddit,Celebrating my first Xmas with a girlfriend this year (27/m) (also we were best friends for 5 years, I did it!)Anyway, I want to impress, she loves travelling and loves a good Flag.I had an idea that I could create a "Flag Map Globe" essentially being a Globe, that has the Flag of the country as an overlay to the shape and size of said country.I am not a handy man in any sense of the word (System Admin) so I wanted to challenge myself to create something. I also cannot see anywhere that this is ready available.https://ift.tt/2Fh2AQj is my starting point, from what I can tell, I would need to manipulate this images size and into segments that I could cut out and stick over a globe.It's obviously going to be a lot more work, I've purchased a cheap light up Globe from the FB marketplace as I thought it would be a good start.I guess I would just appreciate anyones advice on the best methods and tools I would need to go about this correctly.I'll make a couple of prototypes (and keep you updated if you want) I imagine my finished product would need to be printed on special material with special glue etc...
