This little garden is in the front of my house (new homeowner). It turns into a swimming pool everytime it rains. I've tried to raise the level of the soil but rain always comes and pushes out all the dirt and mulch. As a result it's always really ugly (why you can see the rocks which used to be buried). I'm willing to pull everything out and start over but I don't even know where to begin.I've googled around but mostly just found expensive drainage systems to install. But this area is 1: very small so there's not a lot of room and 2: surrounded by concrete so I can't get around it.I do not have gutters above this garden but i've already scheduled some quotes this weekend. I will definitely be installing gutters but I still want to fix this up so it doesn't retain water and constantly push all the dirt and mulch down the entrance sidewalk.Should I raise the level of the entire bed? Is there some other drainage solution?Thank you all! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2N7Tpos
