I've basically been struggling with the realization that if something doesn't change soon I'm NEVER going to be happy. I don't feel fulfilled in so many ways, and don't see positive future for myself. A large part of this is simply the fact that I don't make much money currently. I work 2 jobs, and bring in 3k/mo after tax with allowances. I'm a single 24/m that's been working on paying down his debt for college. (Just got under 20k debt). I've literally been living on 1000-1200 dollars depending on the month in order to do this. I don't eat out, I don't have any unnecessary expenses, the most I've been allowing myself has been buying cans of soda from the store when they are on sale
I've been living without joys in my life to try to make my financial situation make sense, but have come to the conclusion that I simply need a new job, one that's fulfilling in at least one aspect of my life. I'd like to just focus on the financial aspect right now because hopefully the rest will fall in line; if not i'll re-examine that later.
My debt is student loan Debt, so I do have undergraduate psychology and social work degrees. Working 2 jobs and not even breaking out the the 12% tax bracket hurts. I'm looking for a vocational change and I guess i'm asking for input on what jobs pay well, and where. I'm willing to work extremely hard 7 days a week 16 hours a day if needed.
I just need something going for me in life, and I have control over this so i figured it would be a good place to start.
Note: i'm not happy in my current area really either since there is no way for me to meet people around me also, so i really don't mind if i have to move to obtain something better.
