I measured everything and slapped it in autocadhttps://imgur.com/a/7mjTikaI'm renovating the basement of a house I'm moving into. I've never done this project and I'll be asking people I know IRL for the actual "doing it" help. But like all projects, first you need to plan it.The limitations I was given by home owner are as follows:Must include bathroom at the drainBedroom and Bathroom must have door connecting themMust include enough space for a home theater including a barThe top wall is 44' 8" long, and I haven't measured any of the furniture, only the HVAC. The bathroom is 14' 8" by 7' 7", and the bedroom is 14' 8 by 14' 3"The air vent runs the width of the basement just north of the stairs, hanging 2" below the ceiling which is 8' high.I'm mostly looking for advice on where to place the walls (in red) and the doors in a way thats practical. Trying to shove a closet somewhere in here would be nice too.Update: This is what I have so far.https://ift.tt/2BpkUo5 was thinking adding a wall in, to get the toilet on top of the drain and to hold it against something. This also gives room for a closet, however the homeowner thinks an L shaped bathroom "looks stupid."I'm not sure if having an extra table there is a good idea or not, might be too crowded. via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2ONYSxr
