I've always heard that cooking is a great way to save money, and I've tried. but I feel like i end up spending more on groceries and time cooking and cleaning that it's just not worth it at all. I think the kicker is that I'm single and live alone, so I have to do all the cleaning. I'll spend maybe $100 on groceries (I like to buy premium food products if I'm cooking). and that will probably be only for two or three dishes (not meals). the cooked food will last me a while, but it's really easy to get bored of the same meals everyday. I'd like to cook and clean more often, but the convenience of eating out our ordering in every dinner is just too easy. I've tried freezing some foods to prevent from going bad, but that didn't work out too well because I'm not a fan of frozen food. plus having to thaw the food also takes a whole nother day. any tips on what I may be doing wrong?
