Hello Everyone,
I am 35 years old and live in Cleveland, Ohio. I make $65k a year or more, depending on bonuses. I never make more than $70k.
I have 3 different 401k accounts, 2 of which are from hourly jobs I had in college. They are for inconsequential amounts, relatively, and I no longer make contributions to them. My main 401k is well funded and healthy and I will NOT be touching it.
I will cash out my two small 401ks to pay down credit card debt that has been nagging me since college (I was dirt poor and used it to subsidize my life while in college. It was really dumb. I would smack my 20 year old self in the face).
I am throwing everything I have at it and aggressively paying it off. I want that bitch gone. I want it gone more than I want these 401k accounts (minus my really nice main account, obviously).
My question is, living in Cleveland, OH, and having the salary that I have, how much tax should I willhold from my withdrawal, which will be around $4,000? I do not want a large bill from the IRS, next tax season.
