So yesterday I had carpet installed in one of my bedrooms. The guy came back this morning to trim down the door on the bottom so it would close (going from vinyl to thick carpet). Unfortunately, he made a mistake and trimmed the wrong side of the door. So he took the trimmed off piece and calked it back on to the top of the door. I had planned on staining the door but don't think the staining will cover up the mishap.
