I have an older 150 psi Craftsman air compressor. I changed the gaskets and reed valves about 6 months ago and it has worked great ever since.I was using a cheap pvc hose, which worked fine, but it ended up getting a hole, so last week I bought a hybrid hose. I switched the ends to the new hose, and they are not leaking. However, when I first started using the new hose I am getting a pressure drop. For instance, I have a blower attachment, and it starts off strong but quickly loses blowing pressure. If I let off the trigger for a moment, the pressure goes back up but quickly loses pressure again. Now, the tank itself isn't losing any pressure. The dial reads what it should, and the compressor doesn't kick on until the dial shows the proper drop. When the compressor comes on it pumps it all the way back up, but I still get the drop out of whatever attachment I'm using. The only other difference is that the new hose is 25ft while the old PVC hose was 50 ft.Thanks for any help. via /r/DIY http://bit.ly/2t2n724
