I know there are a bunch of posts asking the same question and yes I have looked at them. However, every single posts has so much conflicting experiences. The highest upvoted comment will be stay as far away from samsung as you can. Then the next highest upvoted will be my samsung has been going strong for x years now. I'm not sure whos word I should take.
I'm looking for a fridge and range specifically. Fridge being <$1500 and range around $1000 give or take a few hundred. Should I just buy based on my personal experiences? My parents have a LG fridge that has been going strong for about 6 years now without any repair ever needed. Then again they don't use the ice maker which tends to be a problem with a lot of fridges after awhile. The stove they use is a Frigidaire which has also been going strong for 6 years without any repairs. However, they never use the oven. I do plan on using the oven from time to time.
Side note: Parents also have a LG washer and dryer which have been going strong for 6 years without any repairs.
I'm planning on just getting LG fridge and range and I just want some additional experiences.
