Last semester it cost me $21 for a Boot Camp Fitness class that was three times a week, five months a year. I also had access to the college's gym as a benefit for taking the class. If you've lived in your state for at least a year, it might be as cheap as I have paid.
I didn't have to be enrolled full time (most community colleges let you take any amount of classes, unless you want to be full time), I didn't have to buy any books, I didn't have to pay $60/month and risk being overcharged, and they gave me a free t-shirt. While I had to work around the class's schedule, it was easy to overcome as they had four posted times that the class was available; I simply signed up for the evening schedule and was set to go. If you're concerned about nutrition, take a health and nutrition course, if offered, for about the same price.
Pros:
-Professional or Semi-Professional trainer/coach teaching the class
-Sets a workout schedule for you
-Cheap
-Works rain or shine
-Access to gym
-Classes provided year round, including the summer (usually)
Cons:
-Might mess with your schedule
-You follow a set workout routine (con because you might not do what you want to do at the time, but could also be a pro)
-You can only take so many fitness classes before it would become redundant/run out of classes to take
Consider looking at your community college's website and gather as much information that you can on their fitness classes, it might end up benefiting you in the end, financially and physically!
