My parents have a stove where the oven is controlled via a touchpad. It is extremely easy to accidentally hit the screen and the oven turns on. There is a lock function, but it is useless as a simple touch anywhere on the screen disables it.Recently my mom accidently touched the screen which turned on the stove overnight and caused a small fire.
