Our house that we moved into just under a year ago (near Elgin, TX) only has showers in both bathrooms and so I'd like to build my wife an outside, wood fired bath. I already acquired a vintage cast iron claw foot tub and my next step is to build a small (8'x8') deck for it to go on as well as the small wood stove and piping to heat the tub.I'd like for there to be 5 ft plant 'walls' around 3 sides of the deck to provide a reasonable amount of shade/privacy. Obviously it's an outdoor bath so it'll never be totally private, but we live in the country and our neighbors are many trees/bushes away. I just want some dense, lush vining type plants to fill in around the deck to remove at least 90-95% visibility into the tub area. I assume I'll install lattice walls to help with the privacy and give whatever plants i choose a framework to climb up and fill in, but i'm open to any design considerations.Any recommendations for plant types? Grape vines, ivy, small fast growing trees, I'm open to any ideas and even combinations. Year round foliage would be a definite plus! via /r/DIY https://ift.tt/2IPxIGZ
