What is the best way to shop around for home / auto / umbrella insurance?
Ideally, I would like to print my declarations pages that describe my current coverages and have multiple companies offer quotes that include my total expense for home / auto / umbrella coverage. I just want to email them and ask "Hey, how much will all of my insurance needs cost based on these current coverages?" Is there a way to do that indicates the combined cost with multi-line discounts? I am much less likely to do this if I have to spend an afternoon talking to people and going over each detail with each company - call it laziness, call it introversion, call it annoyance.
I have been with State Farm for over 15 years - do long term customers typically have deeper discounts (if all else is equal)?
