TL;DR. Watch out for any Squaretrade agreements within the last 5 years. They are using (30) day modification clause under ENTIRE CONTRACT heading to create new agreements.
Watch out for those Costco insurance plans. They are from Squaretrade.
I buy my phones ouright and use used Squaretrade instead of the lease program. Leasing is crap with my provider.

I purchased a 2 year phone insurance plan. After 2 years were up, Squaretrade charged me $69 to renew without my authorization because they modified the agreement.
Took 15 minutes on the phone with Amir to refund the $69 instead of the pro rated $52. You might have to argue the mandatory 15 minutes to magically receive the full refund. Even after being told a $69 refund is impossible.
Squaretrade may have sent a letter notification but I doubt it. I have two of these same agreements. The email looked like a phishing scam.
The customer portal on squaretrade.com is utter garbage in terms of staying up to date on agreements. Nowhere does it say the agreement(s) have been modified,updated, etc. I could only see the original 2015 info. Pricks.
