So I will be leaving the work force in about 4 months to go back to school for a year. Currently, my company has opened a 401k for me through Fidelity, and everything in there has been automatically invested in the Target Retirement Funds. I'm earning at the third tax bracket and has about ~20k in my 401k. I have been at this job since I started working, so I really have no idea what I should be doing with my 401k once I leave.

I have read about Traditional IRA, Roth IRA, and apparently there is also a Backdoor Roth IRA(?), but I'm confused as to which one I should be rolling my 401k into for my case. I currently also have a Roth IRA account opened with Vanguard but to my understanding, I can't roll my 401k into there. Please advise?
