Hi I have an older house (1935) which came with an in wall, not door, mail slot. At first my SO and I found this charming but in the winter it let's a lot of cold air in as the old metal door does not fit flush with the opening. I have seen other posts suggesting putting up a mail box however I do not believe these are allowed by city ordance as no other house anywhere near us has one.Has anyone come up with a clever way to insulate while still allowing the mail to be delivered? Typically the mail sits inside the wall until we grab it, it does not fall to the floor.Thank you for reading this and for any advise given. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2AIN1Ju
