I'm using this epoxy enamal spray paint here. I live in Australia it's quite hot and windy here so I've been letting it dry in my bathroom indoors to avoid dust. Here is a photo of the paint finish I'm getting. This is my first time using Epoxy spray paint. I'm trying to do a custom paint job on a mobile phone part.Basically it appears more Matte/Satin black. I applied a light first coat which was perfectly black and glossy. I waited a few hours over the recommended 16 hours before applying the 2nd light coat and the finish turned Matte! So far I've done 2 more light coats with about 13~16 hours in between hoping that the new coats will make it glossy again but every new coat so far has the same matte looking finish.I'm suspecting this might be a wrinkle problem and I should of waited longer than the recommended 16 hours before recoating? Though the paint finish doesn't seem to have raised spots that wrinkled paint jobs normally have.To be honest, I don't mind the matte finish but I'm worried that the paint job will be easier to damage/chip/scratch in the future. Is it necessary to fix this? Do I have to sand all the paint off and start over or can I keep it as it is? If I have to start over, what should I be doing to avoid making the same mistake? Thanks for any help. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2qxvVi0
