On Dec. 20th, I paid $11.99. The plan says its ad free, but when I watch the shows I am interested in, I am shown ads. If I simply just back out of the TV show (go to a menu) and then go back to the same show/same episode, I have to sit through the ad AGAIN.
Anyway, so I cancelled.
It now says that I can continue watching until January 9th... I paid $11.99 on Dec. 20th. I should be able to watch until January 20th, no?
I'll just switch to Netflix.
Tried contacting support through chat and e-mail. Chat says "connect you to an agent." E-mail has no response so far (been 8 hours).
Posting here so others are aware... Hulu is being kind of dishonest. I'm sure there's some tiny fine text somewhere that calls all this out to protect them, but save yourself the hassle. The ad-free experience is a lie, and if you cancel, they wouldn't even give you service for the full 30 days you've paid for.
