couple of months ago I was trying to find a healthy diet to lose some weight but most of them required too much effort.
then I came across Michael Matthews diet and it was the perfect plan for me. the way it works is you calculate your required daily nutrient and then you make a single plan that has all of them and basically you eat the same thing every day.
why? because it is proven people tend to overeat or eat unhealthy or expensive food when they don't know what to eat. and when I followed it I found out it's pretty frugal too. for example, this is the breakfast that I eat every day:
Old-Fashioned Oats -bobs red mill | 25 lb for $17 from restaurant supply store | |
---|---|---|
Banana- I freeze them myself | 40 lb, $14- same store | |
shredded coconut | 2lb, $4- same store | |
almond milk | 3 gal, $10- Costco | |
cacao powder | 2 lb,$10- Costco | |
chia seed | I don't remember where I bought them lol | |
protein powder (isolate whey) | 11lb, $50- myprotein |
then I blend them all together and in less than 1 minute I have a thick healthy breakfast that really doesn't cost that much, same goes for other meals but I'm still experiencing and changing them every week till I get something that fits me perfectly. best thing about this diet is that I don't need to think about what to eat
for learning how to calculate your nutrients (macros) there are lots of sources online but I learned it from book bigger leaner stronger it's a great book if you want to get into fitness (kindle version is $3 on amazon).
sorry for bad English I might make a bigger post when I completed my diet if you guys liked it
let me know if you have any question
