So I measured everything quite perfectly: -50/50 alcohol to water (grain alcohol and filtered tap) total 300ml -10g ammonium chloride -10g potassium nitrate (Spectrumirservices stump remover) -and 28g Deer brand camphorThe glass is holding 2100ml of this solution. So I mixed the solution with heat and added to the glass. It was milky and opaque unlike a lot of videos of a clear solution. It's been sitting in my kitchen for a few hours cooling to room temp. It's still cloudy, clearer but LOTS of particulates still suspended in the liquid, and a lot of white sediment at the bottom. It just seems like I've done something wrong, will the storm glass still work, does anyone know?My only guess is that I might have over heated the solution when mixing (it was staying just before boiling)? Thanks in advance via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2CqtkZ6
