I’m hoping to move out of my parents house soon and get my own place, and rather than wasting money on renting an apartment I’d rather that money go into a house where it would actually be an investment. Given that I can’t afford a nice renovated home, I’d love to be able to buy a fixer upper and do the work myself, aside from complicated things like electrical work etc., and it’s a goal of mine to eventually flip houses/but properties to fix up and rent out to make a living. There isnt really a “home renovation” community college course, so what would you recommend doing to get some experience doing this kind of thing?
