My girlfriend is really fascinated by the mathmatical Pi. Not Raspberry, sorry guys, but this Pi: πSo I thought about making her a gift for christmas. And it had to be something really special, since she is getting me something I've always wanted. So I thought, I could make either a thingy for her necklace if I can make it small enough or just something to place in her shelf. I was thinking about the Pi symbol.Problems are the following: - I am too young and poor to just get expensive tools to make my life way easier - I am unexperienced in handmade stuff. I am usually more of a brainer, gamer, musician. I even got problems using a simple handheld basic sawYet, I wanted to make that as it is important to me. Buying isn't a possibility, because selfmade stuff is worth more than expensive stuff to her. My dad came up with... uh... plexiglass? Sorry, if that's not the english word for it, or the wrong. That plastic stuff that is used for the sides in icehockey stadiums and so on. Anywho, I would need skill with a saw there, like a lot I'd imagine... I was thinking about carving it, but he meant, that would be really complicated. As of this being the DIY community of freakin reddit, I am pretty sure I might get ideas, help and inspirations here. That's my question. Are there any easier or better ways to do so or maybe someone got a totally different suggestion. via /r/DIY http://ift.tt/2zoFmnp
