Hey all, I've picked up one of those Herman-Miller Aeron chairs, a used one.
I love it, it's a C model and I attached an Atlas headrest, easily fall asleep in this thing.
However, the piston sinks about 1-2" when i sit in it, and I'm around 200lbs so I think it's worn, seems like it should sink less.
Anyways, I picked up an OEM replacement.
I've seen the videos where someone is able to just pull it off with a pipe wrench...I do not think that's going to work with mine.
I've let it sit a day with WD-40 and could have blown my blood vessals trying to get it out.
I've seen an orange tool where you can mallet it out, but I don't want to spend $50 for this tool.
Does anyone have any similar experience? Do I need to take this to some rando service shop?
